Day 1
We made it here early this morning, so we had lunch in Rosemary Beach, hit the Sugar Shak, roamed around, then found a mall in Panama City Beach that had a mini-fair. A quick $30 got us one really hot but fun hour to play. Turner was brave and rode the ferris wheel for the first time ever, rode the airplane ride twice alone, and rode the carousel three times. He even progressed from the bench to a horse.
After loading up on groceries and unloading food and luggage at our beach house, we ate and went swimming. Turner did so good with his floaties and had so much fun in the pool. Then, went to the beach, which was beautiful by the way. No tar balls here, at least not today.
Now, last year, Turner was a scared cry baby and wanted nothing to do with the beach. This year, he couldn't get enough. He did not mind the sand on him. He would run into the water, then run back happily squealing like a little girl. I guess he thought the waves were going to knock him down. And speaking of getting knocked down...He had about three wipe outs, but kept going back for more! We were all so shocked at his behavior, but so happy that he was having fun.
