Rainy Day 3

Between rain showers this morning, we went to play at the Villages of Baytown Wharf. Turner rode the carousel 3 times, drove a remote control boat, played on a playground, and played games at an arcade. Lunch at the Acme Oyster House was delicious. Part of my meal included the best Jambalaya I have ever eaten.

After naps, Meme and Coach babysat so we could have a nice, quiet dinner. We chose Cafe 30A as our nice restaurant. It didn't hold a candle to Bud and Alley's from last year, but the cupcake from Sweet Jeni's...now that was something to write home about. Just imagine white cake with lemon curd filling, lemony cream cheese icing, and lemon sprinkles. Oh yeah! It was that good!

Tonight, we all played outside on the porch. Bubbles, bubbles, and more bubbles. Bubble tag, bubble chase, bubble pop, etc. You get the idea. The kids were sweaty, sticky, stinky, and wo' out :)
