Turner's 3rd Birthday

I wanted so badly to make it a special day for him, and I think I succeeded. When he first woke up, we sang happy birthday to him, but he started crying. I have no idea why, but he cheered up when he got to open a present. We gave him one of those balls with the handle on top to sit and bounce on. He had trouble at first, but quickly got the hang of it. He bounces all over our living room now. By the way, that thing is a lot smaller than I remember them being when I was a kid.

We started the day out by making cookies. Then we ordered his cake, which he loved, but couldn't understand why we weren't leaving with it. Then, we went to McDonald's and he played on the indoor playground, which was great since it was raining. We got a happy meal and took it to Newk's, where we ate with PePaw, Aunt Amanda, and Addie. Then, we went to see the Fantastic Mr. Fox ("Tastic Mr. Box") at the "BIG MOVIE". Turner loved it. We got popcorn, candy, and fruit punch. He ate every bite and asked for more ;)

That night, Turner went to MeMe's and played while Mark and I went to the Olive Branch Christmas Party. MeMe gave Turner a Percy train and Thomas shirt with his name on it. The shirt was his favorite. He wanted to wear it immediately and did not want to take it off. Mom said he thanked her over and over for his shirt and for Percy.
