What Was I Thinking?

I think it's safe to say now that Turner is potty trained. Isn't that great? It feels like such a huge accomplishment. However, when I made all of those bribes to get him to this point, I forgot one little thing...my child has the memory of an elephant! Now he's saying, "I need to go potty and get candy." or "I need to poo poo. I get ice cream and a new video?"

Saturday, Peeps took me, Turner, Amanda, and Addie to go see the IMAX Under the Sea show. We all enjoyed it. Several times during the movie, different fish would make sudden movements to capture their food and this scared the kids. The first time that happened, Turner jumped and said, "Hey! Where'd that come from?" The next few times, he just jumped a couple of inches in my lap. After the show, we went to Chic Fil A and Turner actually ate some of a kids meal there! WOO HOO for us! This almost as big of a deal as the potty training. Now we have an extra place he will eat (besides McDonald's).

Saturday night, MeMe babysat Addie and Turner while we all went to an 80's party at church. It was a lot of fun laughing at the way everyone was dressed. I won the best costume! (I will post pictures later.) We ate, sang 80's kareoke, and played 80's Jeopardy.

Sunday, I went to a Kelly's Kids clothing party and spent way too much money on 2 shirts for Turner. If Mark has anything to do with it, this will probably be my last kids clothing party! If I get to go again, I'll take my sister's advice and just do all of the monogramming elsewhere for much cheaper!
