This was that "take your breath away" cold water!
No more baby fat :(
Whew! This was some weekend! Friday night started with Addie's dance recital. Turner actually enjoyed it and was really well behaved. Addie, in true fashion, stole the show. She was the only kid who performed the whole dance, and she was so cute in her itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini.
Saturday morning started with a fall outside of the donut shop, and then cleaning pebbles out of Turner's knee. A trip to Target and a new game made that all better. After his nap, Turner was surprised by a visit from Mamaw and Pop Pop. He played in his new pool for a little while, then we all rushed to see Shrek, The Final Chapter. Then it was back to Target for another game. Turner is now hooked up with the learning based, kid version of a Wii. I think he finally got to sleep around 11pm that night :)
Sunday, Turner played until he could physically play no more with Wilma and James. I'm talking about lots of pool time, multiple trips to the nearby park and playgrounds, and lots of time outside. Turner and James had some great quality time together. I'm not sure who enjoyed it more! By the end of the day, Turner had 2 baths and missed his nap, but finally crashed around 7:30. I left for work this morning at 7:45 and he was still asleep.
