I know this is a day late, but I didn't get on the computer any yesterday. I joked with Mark yesterday and said it was too bad that it took a national holiday for everybody to recognize how awesome moms are! But seriously, I am so thankful to be a mom and to still have my mom on this earth.
To my mom: thank you for raising us in a Christian home, for all of the sacrifices you made, for all of the time you spent with us, for teaching us, for guiding us, for loving us, for supporting us, for allowing us to make our own decisions and learn from our mistakes, and for being the grandmother to our kids who knows nothing else can replace time spent with them. I love you!
To Amanda: I know your everyday void is a little bigger every Mother's Day. Just remember that YOU were chosen by God to nurture, love, teach, and provide for two incredibly special children because of your strengths as a mom. I love you and am so proud of you.
I am also thankful for my step-mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and grandmother-in-law.
Happy Mother's Day everyone!
