T ball game #2 went much better. Turner would still not play on the field with his team, but he did bat alone this time. He got to advance one base at a time with his second bat and scored a run! We were all so proud. Not only was this a huge step, but he listened and minded his coaches, AND did it all with a huge smile on his face. He was having fun! Isn't that what it's all about?
Wednesday, we took off for a family day. We started it with a dentist visit for Turner and I. The spot between his two front teeth turned out to be a cavity after all, so now my baby boy has to be put to sleep for the second time in his short little life to have a cavity filled. He doesn't know that's even in his future, so it didn't spoil the rest of his fun that day. Next, we strolled around the Collierville mall, let him play and get some new books at the bookstore, ate at American Cafe, then took him to a "BIG MOVIE." He was so tired by the time we got home that he fell asleep as we pulled onto our street and crashed on the couch :)
